Samsung Bada: Another Mobile OS

Samsung is adding another mobile operating system and another word to our vocabulary: Bada, which means Ocean in Korean. Sammy is hoping that Bada will join the ranks of Windows Mobile, webOS, iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, and Symbian. Not much is known about Bada at this point, except that Samsung is committed "a variety of open platforms" and that Bada will feature a new, rich UI, easy carrier customizations, and fun and enticing applications for end-users. Does that sound familiar? It should, as it's the same mantra being espoused by most operating system makers today.
